Heritage without nostalgia
KIKU was born from more than four decades of experience in handmade footwear.
Long before KIKU existed, our family had already spent generations shaping shoes in the Mediterranean cradle of Spanish shoemaking.
What we inherited was not only technical knowledge, but a way of understanding objects:
that things should be made carefully, honestly, and to last.
The turning point
When motherhood arrived, our relationship with footwear changed completely.
We became more conscious of materials, softness, ergonomics, and the way shoes accompany the body through everyday life.
KIKU emerged from that moment:
the desire to create footwear with the comfort of home, the soul of craftsmanship, and a more responsible approach to production.

Every pair is handcrafted in València, Spain, in collaboration with local artisans and workshops connected to a long shoemaking tradition.
